Level 1 Certificate:
Public Administration & Governance

This entry-level Certificate - which is also Level 1 of the BA (honours) program in Public Administration and Governance - is designed for working public sector employees, students aspiring to careers in the public service, and those interested in gaining knowledge about public administration and public policy in Canada.

This Level/Certificate was created to provide an interdisciplinary curriculum that explores public administration in the context of the politics of Canada.

The courses making up this Level/Certificate are all available through the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education (see calendar listing here), however, to graduate with a Level 1 Certificate in Public Administration and Governance, students must apply - at any point prior to convocation -  through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions for admission to the Public Administration and Governance program.  Upon completing this Level/Certificate, students may continue their studies to earn a Level 2 Certificate in Public Administration and Governance and, after that is completed successfully, a degree in Public Administration and Governance.
