Save the Date! FRX is a free networking event for local researchers, students, and professionals interested in areas such as policing, corrections/forensics, the justice system, and youth justice. The function of this event is to improve communication across domains and professions, share evidence, and support the next generation. Activities include:

Networking Activities: Attendees will participate in two prize-based networking activities throughout the course of the day using a “BINGO” and “speed dating” format.

Specific Issue Groups (NEW 2017): Attendees will register to attend one of several parallel sessions which specifically target current local issues. A local expert will provide a brief 10 minute introduction to
the issue. Attendees will be invited to share their experiences and solutions.

Collaboration Proposals (NEW 2017): This event seeks to bring researchers and practitioners together for collaborative work. Researchers will briefly explain the importance/objective of a project in need of collaborators; they will then provide details of what would be needed from potential collaborators (e.g., number of participants, type of data collection). Interested parties can then make connections to get the project underway! Please see Call for Abstracts!

Student Blitz: In this 60 minute event, students will present rapid 5-minute presentations based upon research, clinical case studies, and current issues. A prize will be awarded to the best student presentation. Please see Call for Abstracts!

Networking Breaks & Lunch: Throughout the day, attendees can take advantage of free pastries, cookies, fresh fruit, yogurt parfait, etc., and coffee, tea, juice, and soda. Boxed lunches will also be provided from Panera Bread.
