English Language Proficiency

Brain in the form of a tree

Applicants whose language of instruction during their undergraduate studies was a language other than English are required to submit a test of English language proficiency. Applicants may be required to provide an official statement from their institution confirming the use of English as the language of instruction and examination.

If an applicant is required to submit a test of English language proficiency, their application will not be assessed for admission (i.e., it will not be sent to, and reviewed by, the Department of Psychology) without a test result that meets the program minimum test scores, as shown on this page.
