Pre-English Boost

The Real Institute is back on campus and online for the Fall 2021 term.

If you fall short of qualifying for English Boost, Pre-English Boost is for you

Your English skills are good, but you need a boost to meet English Boost language requirements. This eight-week intensive course will help you improve your English proficiency in order to start the English Boost course. This course is offered immediately before the English Boost course, so you can take them consecutively.

Course Details

As part of this eight-week intensive course, you will participate in 20 hours of classroom activity weekly, and complete reading and writing assignments as homework. In addition, your weekly schedule will include conversation circles, debates and other interactive learning opportunities to improve your ability to communicate effectively in academic and social contexts. Our thematic, state-of-the-art curriculum emphasizes reading and writing, while also helping you build your listening and speaking skills.
