As her clinical supervisor and colleague, I am delighted to nominate Ruth Frolic for the 2018 Counsellor Award. Throughout her 10 years as the Counsellor for the Faculty of Arts and the CSDC, Ruth has impressed me with her clinical expertise, her respect and concern for the welfare of her clients, her warm and welcoming approach to our diverse group of students, and her dedication and skill in providing the most comprehensive and best possible treatment. Students, staff, and faculty across campus consistently provide positive feedback and appreciation of her clinical work and responsiveness to students in distress.

He also served on the Library Appointments Committee and the Chief Librarian Search Committee.
Information Technology Services, Library and Archives
As the web services librarian, Sally Wilson has been always on top of the latest technologies and academic library trends that enhance the user experience of Library resources and services. This year, Sally blazed a trail in the area of instructor support for OER projects at Ryerson. Working closely with partners across the university, Sally has successfully co-led a large scale open publishing infrastructure project funded by eCampusOntario. She supported a major migration project to the library's new catalogue system. She published a well-received paper on makerspaces, an OER textbook, and helped develop the library collaboratory aimed towards faculty.
