Content 7 Support

Once your my.ryerson username is added to Content 7 you will be able to sign in using your Ryerson username and password. To request access to Content 7 please contact your Departmental Representative.

Supported browser versions are listed, however, we recommend that you upgrade to the latest patch of the supported browsers. Note that some browsers release automatic updates.

Launch a browser and navigate to my.ryerson.ca and log in, select the Apps tab, then click on Content 7.

  • Users are having issues viewing TIF documents in Experience, the web version of Content 7.
    • Resolved - 201909
  • Connection issues between RAMSS and Content 7 have resulted from a recent Oracle upgrade (part of the RAMSS upgrade). When viewing a form the user may see "Failed to connect to the external banner database."
    • Resolved - 201812
  • Mac users are unable to access Content 7 after updating to High Sierra. Safari 12 eliminated support for Java applets and stopped Content 7 from launching.
    • Resolved - 20190412 - If you launch a browser and navigate to my.ryerson.ca and log in, select the Apps tab, then click on Content 7 you will be accessing the new version that is compatible (does not rely on Java).
  • Users are unable to rotate PDF documents.
    • Resolved - 201806
  • Some users have reported that the application does not disconnect right away. After a delay, a message indicating "imagenow.exe is not responding" is displayed. (Note: ImageNow is the former name for Content 7).
    • Resolved - 20190412 - No new issues reported in the past 12 months.
  • Some users may see a scrolling message "Cannot connect to the message queuing service. Contact your administrator."
    • Resolved - 201802
