All Undergraduate instructors must submit their fall 2020 grades no later than:
Wednesday, December 23, 2020 by 4 p.m.
It is critical to meet this university deadline for Student Records to process and post grades, and calculate academic standings.
As part of normal policy, Program Directors, Deans, the University Registrar, and the Vice Provost Students are notified of grades that have not been submitted by the deadline. Grading information is needed to ensure the accurate assessment of students' academic standings. Academic continuance reviews are normally held the day after the grade submission deadline.
If you are aware of a problem in meeting this deadline, please notify email@example.com as soon as possible.
Instructors may contact Operations Support by email at firstname.lastname@example.org for grading assistance.
Release of Grades: Final grades are not to be released to students as there may be outstanding obligations to the university. Final grades are only released by the Registrar's Office via RAMSS.
New: Final grades for fall courses will no longer be posted to RAMSS over the winter holidays and will be considered official on January 12, 2021. Unofficial grades will be visible in RAMSS between January 7 and 11, 2021 as grades are being posted or corrected, and as the Registrar’s Office academic continuance processes are run. All grades and standings visible from January 7 through January 11, 2021 in RAMSS are subject to change and considered unofficial.
Grade Policy and Grade Definitions: The purpose of University's Grading Policy is to ensure that the grading practices throughout the University reflect appropriate academic standards: that the evaluation of student performance is made in a fair and objective manner against these academic standards; and that grades are assigned fairly and equitably across campus. Grade definitions follow and if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact email@example.com.
Undergraduate grade scales and standings are available for your use.
