PDF fileGlobal Learning Award supports the participation of Ryerson students in international conferences and research opportunities, unpaid international work experiences, and Global Learning Programs Abroad (GLPA) - short-term experiential learning programs led by Ryerson faculty and/or staff members. This award is open to all Ryerson students, while providing priority consideration for students with financial need, first time abroad, first time receiving financial support for international activities through Ryerson and members of underrepresented groups.

  • Fall 2019:
    September 30, 2019
  • Winter 2020:
    November 15, 2019
  • Spring/Summer 2020:
    March 20, 2020
  • Three days or less: $250
  • Seven days or less: $500
  • More than seven days: $1,000

 

PDF fileGlobal Learning Programs Abroad (GLPA) Development Grant supports faculty and staff in the development of international experiential learning programs. Priority consideration will be given to proposals that are multidisciplinary in nature, award academic credit to participating students, and involve collaboration with and/or participation of local students and/or stakeholders in host destination(s).

The Development Grant includes:

  • The reservation of a maximum of 10 Global Learning Awards for participating eligible students (total of $10,000 in scholarships)
  • $2,000 to support general program expenses
  • Comprehensive administrative and logistical support from Ryerson International

 

PDF fileRyerson International Exchange Opportunity Scholarships (RIEOS) supports student participation in an academic exchange with one of Ryerson’s 75+ partners during a semester or academic year program.

All student participants in the OUI program, external link, opens in new window  who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents receive a scholarship that ranges from $1000 to $3500 depending on the program they are attending and for how long.
