Ryerson Planning Graduate Student Association
The RGSA organizes an informal Mentor Program to help incoming graduate students transition into the School of Urban and Regional Planning. First year students will be paired with a second year student who can answer any questions or concerns they may have throughout their academic year. The goal of this program is to create strong ties between first and second year students and foster a supportive student community.
Questions about the program can be directed to any of the executive council members.
We believe that for city-building practices to be inclusive, they must empower and engage everyone. This includes young citizens who often hold different and interesting perspectives on our city’s toughest problems.
RUaPlanner is committed to bringing interactive city-building activities to high school students across Toronto. Through interactive presentations and in-class activities and discussions, we provide an outlet through which students can kick-start their creative and innovative city-building thinking!
RUaPlanner is a joint initiative between Ryerson’s Master of Planning (MPl) in Urban Development students and the City of Toronto. We focus our workshops during the week of World Town Planning Day every November.
RUaPlanner workshops provide a great opportunity for young citizens to learn about urban planning and how they can influence the future of their communities.
