As of the end of Winter 2019, the Academic Consideration Request (ACR) online form must be used by all undergraduate students, with the exception of the Chang School.

If you are an undergraduate student requesting academic consideration on health grounds (such as, physical or mental health), log in below with your Ryerson username and password, and read the guidelines before completing and submitting your request. You must submit the request in advance of the missed work (e.g., test, assignment deadline, lab, etc.) When circumstances do not permit this, you must submit the request as soon as reasonably possible.

Note: You must also upload your medical documentation at the time of submitting your request.

Undergraduate students should log in here.

Students taking courses in the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education (Chang School), must submit their request for academic consideration on health grounds by completing the Academic Consideration Document Submission Form, along with a completed Student Health Certificate (or letter from an appropriate regulated health professional). Additional instructions are provided on the Academic Consideration Document Submission Form.

Refer to Senate Policy 134: Undergraduate Academic Consideration and Appeals for information on Ryerson’s policy and procedures for requesting academic consideration.
