TRSM, FEAS, FOS, FOA, in addition to FCAD, FCS and Continuing Education (CE) students must submit academic grade and standing appeals through the on-line academic appeals portal at on-line appeals.
For Faculty of Law Students:
Faculty level appeals must be emailed to the Associate Dean of your Faculty.
Senate level appeals must be submitted via email to senate@ryerson.ca
For Graduate Studies Students:
All Program level, Faculty level, and Senate level grade and standing appeal submissions must be emailed.
Program level appeals must be emailed to your Graduate Program Director.
Faculty level appeals must be emailed to the Associate Dean of your Faculty.
Senate level appeals must be submitted via email to senate@ryerson.ca.

Policy 167: Academic Consideration for Winter 2021 - due to Covid-19: "Students who miss an assessment due to cold or flu-like symptoms, or due to self-isolation, are currently not required to provide a health certificate". Other absences must follow Senate PDF filePolicy 167 on Academic Consideration.
Appeals
Appeals can be filed for grade/standing, misconduct or non-academic conduct.
NEW
Faculty of Community Services (FCS), Faculty of Communication and Design (FCAD) and Continuing Education (CE) in addition to Faculty of Arts (FOA), Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM), Faculty of Science (FOS) and Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science (FEAS) students must submit grade and standing appeals online.
For Faculty of Law Students:
- Faculty level appeals must be emailed to the Associate Dean of your Faculty.
- Senate level appeals must be submitted via email to senate@ryerson.ca
For Graduate Studies Students:
- All Program level, Faculty level, and Senate level grade and standing appeal submissions must be emailed.
- Program level grade appeals must be emailed to the appropriate course contact.
- Program level standing appeals must be emailed to students' GPD/Assoc. Chair.
- Faculty level appeals must be emailed to the Associate Dean of your Faculty.
- Senate level appeals must be submitted via email to senate@ryerson.ca.
Submission of your appeal is required within 10-working days of receiving the faculty-level decision letter (grade/standing appeals), the Academic Integrity decision letter (academic misconduct), or the decision letter from the Vice-Provost, Student (non-academic conduct appeals). Please refer to the Student Appeals Submission Guide for more information.

Faculty of Law Students should file Senate-level appeals via email to Senate@ryerson.ca All Senate level appeals must include any documents submitted at all previous levels, all decision letters, all evidence, and a letter to the Senate Appeals Committee that clearly outlines where the decision made by the Dean and Chair/Director are in dispute. |
