Not getting enough OSAP funding? You might be eligible for an OSAP review.* Have extenuating circumstances not covered by these reviews? Come see us. The Student Financial Assistance team is available to meet with you in private at the ServiceHub (located in POD150, next to The Hub Café). Remember to bring a piece of government issued ID when you come so we can access your file.
*Note: OSAP reviews must be submitted 40 days before the end of your study period. Check out the Important Dates page for standard deadlines. Although we can review a number of items, there are a few situations that do not qualify for review, including:
Has your parent(s)’ income changed substantially since 2017? You might be able to have your OSAP based on their estimated income for 2018. Check out the Request to Use Parent(s)’ Estimated Income for details.
Has your spouse’s income changed substantially since 2017? You might be able to have your OSAP based on their estimated income for 2018. Check out the Request to Use Spouse’s Estimated Income for details.
Not living with your parent(s)’ even though they live within 30km of Ryerson? Living with your parent(s) and paying room and board? Married, but not living with your spouse during the study period due to location? You might be eligible for an adjustment to your living allowance. See Adjust Living Allowance review for details.
Have additional local travel costs during your study period? We might be able to reassess your OSAP. Check the Adjust Local Travel in Study Period review for details.
OSAP expects dependent students to provide parental information on their application. If parental information is unavailable because of a break in contact or estrangement, a Family Breakdown Review can be considered. You must demonstrate that a serious and permanent breakdown of the family relationship has occurred.
