In order to be considered for entry into the Sociology Program, you must apply through Ryerson Admissions. High school, mature, and international students are all encouraged to apply. Normally, students are admitted into the program for the fall term of a given academic year.

If you wish to transfer into the Sociology Program and are currently a student in English, Criminology, History, Environment and Urban Sustainability, Geographic Analysis, Philosophy, Politics and Governance, or Psychology, you need to apply by the stated deadline in the current Academic Calendar and submit both a Faculty of Arts Program Transfer and Secondary form. If you wish to transfer into the Sociology Program and are currently a student in a non-Arts Program, you will need to do so through the Undergraduate Admissions Office.
