What is Math Support? (video, no sound)

SLS offers comprehensive support, both in-person and online, to all Ryerson students looking for help with math and computer science. 

All tutoring has been moved online.

For tutoring help with your economics course, visit the Economics Help Centre in LIB-549.

As you are likely already aware, Ryerson University has announced that all classes are moving to alternate formats. As a result, Student Learning Support is moving all 1-1 appointments and workshops to online or by phone. 

Math Support drop-in has moved online. Please book an online tutoring appointment. 

Math Support

Math Online Tutoring, supported by Zoom, is available:

  • Monday to Friday, 1 pm to 6 pm.

Computer Science Online Tutoring is available:

  •  Wednesday 12 pm to 3 pm. 

Each appointment is either 15-minute or 30-minute in length. Please check your email for Zoom link. Watch this video for assistance with booking an appointment

Math Support

We also offer group study sessions for specific math courses at Ryerson. These are facilitated by Master’s or PhD candidates or trained peer leaders who have taken the course before. These sessions are a proven way to engage more effectively in the course material and improve grades.

TRSM Course Tutoring 

The Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM) has free group virtual tutoring and peer-assisted study groups.  You can find more information on the Academic Success Centre website.

MTH Supported Learning Groups (SLGs) offered each semester:

  • Fall: MTH131, MTH140,  MTH207, and MTH108
  • Winter: MTH131, MTH231, MTH140, MTH240, MTH207, and MTH310
  • Spring: MTH231, MTH 240
