I have been a part-time instructor in the School of Urban and Regional Planning since the fall of 2006. In that time, I have taught PLG 720, PLG 500, PLG 810, PLG 620 and PLG 100. For three years I jointly taught PLX 599, an introductory planning course in the Department of Architectural Science. Along with other members of the faculty, I have introduced students to several urban centres in the United States as part of the required field research course in the third and fourth year.

With over 20 years as a provincial civil servant, I have provided students with professional expertise in project management, policy development and implementation. My current role as a municipal councillor in the Town of Huntsville and District Municipality of Muskoka provides students with a unique perspective into the application of planning legislation at the local level.
