Serge retired from PwC on January 1, 2020 after being a National Managing Partner for 10+ years. He currently serves on various commercial and NPO boards, and also acts as a strategic advisor and executive coach to various management teams.

As a Partner in PwC Canada he served in various Executive roles first as Canadian Managing Partner for PwC Canada's Audit and Assurance Group for 5+ years, and then as Canadian Managing Partner of Strategy and Operations for 5+ years. He was also a Senior Relationship Partner on some of the largest Canadian clients in various industries and taught on various occasions at the Rotman’s Institute of Corporate Directors on Audit Committee Effectiveness.

As National Managing Partner of Strategy and Operations he was responsible for all operations; Finance, IT, Sales & Marketing, Real Estate, Business Transformation, Human Capital and Change Management with significant experience in strategy development and strategy execution.

As National Managing Partner of the Audit and Assurance group he had full accountability for the Canadian Audit and Assurance practice. This included, quality, methodology, risk management and all aspects of operations from people to profitability. As part of that role he was also a member of the Global Assurance Leadership group, and was the Leader of the West Cluster Assurance group which included all of North, Central and South America, including the Caribbean.

Lastly through his professional career he had the opportunity to be on full time secondments in the health care sector. These secondments ranged from approximately 6 to 9 months in length . He was VP Operations and CFO of Markham Stouffville Hospital, CFO of what is now Cancer Care Ontario, and CFO of Brampton Memorial during its merger to form William Osler Health Centre.
