Biography:

Hamed Mehrabi

Dr. Mehrabi earned a PhD in Marketing from the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University. He holds an MSc (Information Technology Management) from the University of Tehran and a BSc (Industrial Engineering) from the Iran University of Science and Technology.

His research focuses on the impact of environmental and organizational factors on marketing capabilities, and the performance consequences of these relationships. He has published in Industrial Marketing Management and has been an ad hoc reviewer for several journals including the Journal of Business Venturing and Technovation. He has won an Ontario Trillium Scholarship and a SSHRC Doctoral Fellowship.

Dr. Mehrabi has also been a research collaborator at the Lazaridis Institute for the Management of Technology Enterprises. He has contributed to the Handbook of Measures for Research in International Entrepreneurship: Multi-item Scales Crossing Disciplines and Contexts. Prior to joining Ryerson, he has taught marketing courses in both university and industry. His industry experience involves the public and private sectors and in the contexts of customer relationship management and information technology.
