Sales Ecosystem at Toronto Metropolitan University

Sales education at Toronto Met aims to advance the sales skills of our students at various levels throughout their university experience. Our sales ecosystem includes the following:

Ted Rogers Sales Leadership Program

The Ted Rogers Sales Leadership Program is a two-year program that brings together dedicated students from all of the schools and departments at the Ted Rogers School. It provides specialized experiential learning activities for emerging sales leaders, aimed at developing professional sales skills to create candidates for dynamic job opportunities. Upon graduation from the program with the completed requirements, students will hit the ground running with highly-developed sales skills, and the confidence to apply those skills towards a successful career in sales leadership.

“Toronto Met will therefore be one of the first Canadian universities to offer a premium Sales Leadership Program which meets both student and industry needs,” says Dr. Karen Peesker.
Ted Rogers Undergraduate Sales Team (TRUST)

Ted Rogers Undergraduate Sales Team (TRUST)

Ted Rogers Undergraduate Sales Team is the competitive team of top performing sales students hand picked to represent Toronto Met in International Competitions. This team comprises competitors and developmental members who train their sales skills like varsity athletes. The team is sent to a variety of different competitions to showcase skills learned via the program in case-based simulated sales meeting competitions where they are graded, ranked and awarded based on niche criteria.

Ted Rogers Sales Club - TRSC

Student Sales Club - Ted Rogers Sales Club (TRSC)

Formerly the Ryerson Sales Initiative, the Ted Rogers Sales Club is a student-run organization aimed to educate, connect and innovate sales. TRSC organizes various workshops and networking events throughout the year to connect students with industry professionals, as well as fellow students that share the same passion for sales. It works to build the interest and develop beginner sales skills for first- and second- year students. It then acts as a sales pipeline to funnel talented sales students who have an interest in honing their sales skills and pursuing a career in sales into the Ted Rogers Sales Leadership Program.

“Being a part of the Ted Rogers Sales Leadership Program gave me the opportunity to meet some of Canada’s top executives. The lessons you learn will help guide you for the rest of your career.”
