The FCAD Audience Lab is a new research group at the Faculty of Communication and Design (FCAD) that aims to understand contemporary media consumption and user/audience experiences, in particular in emerging areas of digital communication and human-computer interactions. While being initiated under the FCAD umbrella, we also aim to create a Ryerson-wide interdisciplinary group.
The FCAD Audience Lab looks at today’s unique challenges to understand the interplay of modern media audiences (spectators), digital communication users and producers (users), and mediated consumption patterns (consumers).
