Internal Ryerson Course Transfers

Transfer credit applications are only for courses you completed at other institutions. Do not apply for transfer credits for Ryerson courses, including courses completed at the Chang School.

Transferring Previously Completed Ryerson Courses

Undergraduate students: You can run your Advisement Report (this report is available to newly admitted students in early August) to determine how the courses you’ve previously completed (including Chang courses) are being used to fulfill your new program requirements.  If you have any course listed under the Non-Applicable section of your Advisement Report, consider submitting a PDF fileCourse Exception

Chang School certificate students: If you are pursuing a certificate where a previously completed undergraduate course is part of the curriculum, courses with similar course codes will automatically transfer (e.g. CACC 100 is equivalent to ACC 100).  If it is a similar undergraduate course with different course code, consider submitting a PDF fileCourse Exception.

Transfer Credit Application from One Ryerson Program to Another

After formally enrolling in your new program, you can run your Advisement Report (this report is available to newly admitted students in early August) to determine how the previously granted transfer credits are being used to fulfill your new program requirements.

We strive to provide you with the most suitable transfer credit decision to support your new program requirement. Please contact us if you would like to discuss how your previously granted transfer credits can better apply towards your new program.
