Ojelanki Ngwenyama helps foster a culture of innovation

Quote from Ojelanki Ngwenyama: I'll help large organizations embrace innovation to create more efficient and cost-effective operations

Ojelanki Ngwenyama’s research will help Canadian organizations identify, understand and overcome barriers that prevent them from adopting new and innovative information and communication technologies.

Adopt-IT is a groundbreaking project taking place in the Ted Rogers School of Management’s Institute for Innovation and Technology Management, where Ngwenyama is collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of academic and industry partners. Together, they’re developing new methodologies that will help break down barriers and encourage the adoption of innovation and technology inside large organizations.

For example, Ngwenyama sees the potential for innovation within the healthcare sector here in Canada. Technology can transform the way we deliver care to patients who are ill or need constant care – like remote monitoring that helps patients live more independent lives, or novel ways for terminally ill patients to communicate with loved ones while in care – ultimately leading to a better quality of life.

Ojelanki Ngwenyama’s research will transform the way multiple sectors of the Canadian economy operate – creating more efficient and cost-effective operations.
