Meal plans have two components
Note: Your meal plan expires at the end of the academic year. Any unspent flex dollars at the end of the academic year can be carried over into the next academic year and spent at participating food retailers on campus.

Cost of 2018/2019 Meal Plans
Meal plans are valid from August 27, 2018 to April 27, 2019. Residence students have different options depending on where you live, please check out Meal Plan Options for Residence Students.
7 day plan: All you care to eat, 7 days a week for $22 per day
The 7 day plan costs $5,300, which works out to be $22 per day for all you care to eat at Pitman Dining Hall and ILLC Dining Hall every day of the week. Plus, you get $400 in flex dollars to spend at participating retailers.
5 day plan: All you care to eat, 5 days a week for $22 per day
The 5 day plan costs $3,900, which works out to be $22 per day for all you care to eat at Pitman Dining Hall and ILLC Dining Hall from Monday to Friday. Plus, you get $400 in flex dollars to spend at participating retailers.
When you purchase your meal plan, the value is loaded in two equal installments, once in August for the fall semester, and again in mid-December for the winter semester. All flex dollars are loaded in August.
