We are emailing you to invite you to complete a short survey regarding your overall experience as a meal plan holder accessing meals through the Pitman Dining Hall during the 2020/2021 academic year.
We understand that this past year’s on-campus dining experience likely looked different from what you envisioned when you were preparing for your first year at Ryerson. Like you, our vision for on-campus dining at Ryerson changed dramatically with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. In the months leading up to the Fall 2020 semester, our team worked with public health officials and leaders from across the university to make changes to our traditional dining hall and meal plan operations in an effort to keep our guests and staff happy, well fed and safe.
We are incredibly appreciative of your cooperation and patience as our team continually responded to the evolving COVID-19 situation in Toronto. Despite the challenges COVID-19 posed to our operations, we hope that we were able to provide you with a memorable dining experience during your time living in residence.
Your participation will us help improve our plans for on-campus dining during the Fall 2021 semester
While it is still too early to determine what on-campus dining will look like during the Fall 2021 semester, we recognize that it is likely that we will need to keep in place some of the changes to our operational model introduced this past year aimed at prioritizing the health and safety of our guests and staff. As we continue to plan for the gradual reopening of our campus, we are asking current meal plan holders to provide their feedback on the changes we made to our on-campus dining model in response to COVID-19 as we prepare for the Fall 2021 semester.
