Official Identification & Door Access
Your OneCard acts as official identification for students, faculty and staff while on campus.
Occasionally, a member of the Ryerson Security might ask that you provide a valid form of identification (such as your OneCard) where such information is relevant to the legitimate pursuit of their duties. Additional representatives of the university, including exam invigilators, may also ask for your OneCard. Without your OneCard, you may not be permitted to access these university spaces or services.
Contact the OneCard Office for programming request forms
If you are an authorized staff member looking to request access to your spaces for any students, staff, faculty or community members, you will need to contact the OneCard Office to obtain a programming request form.
If you are a faculty member or teaching assistant requiring changes to your building or door access, your request must be approved by your faculty’s dean or their designate.
If you are a staff member requiring changes to your building or door access, your request must be approved by your department or office’s AVP or their designate.
To ensure the security of Ryerson property and personnel, the person making this request must be the designated authorized staff member as per Security’s Authorization Binder. To modify or make updates to the binder, please contact Security firstname.lastname@example.org or 416-979-5000, ext. 4551 before contacting the OneCard Office.
