Check Your Balance

Every time you use your card to purchase something, your balance as of that transaction is displayed on the payment device. You can also check your balance and view transaction details easily using eAccounts.

Check your balance and review transactions using eAccounts

  1. Log in to the OneCard eAccounts, external link, opens in new window using your my.ryerson credentials.

  2. Review your account balance(s) on the left side of the page.

  3. Review recent transaction activity by account by selecting the account name.

  4. You can review online, or download and print your account statement.

Other ways to check your balance

Besides OneCard eAccounts, external link, opens in new window, there are some other ways to check your balance:

Ryerson mobile app on your smartphone

  1. Visit m.ryerson.ca or download the Ryerson mobile app from the App Store, external link or Google Play, external link onto any WiFi or data-enabled smartphone.

  2. Log in to the app using your my.ryerson credentials.

  3. Select OneCard to display your balance and view past transactions.

There are a variety of pay per use machines like laser printers and photocopiers that use electronic card readers. When you swipe your card through the reader to pay, the display will show the present the balance on your account, deduct the purchase and display the remaining balance.

You may request that cashiers at any point of sale machine provide you with your balance (e.g. campus eateries, Campus Bookstore, ARC shops, etc.).

You can check your balance at PHIL machines located across the campus. Follow the screen prompts on the display.
