You can use your Student OneCard to access discounts and free admission.

Discounts

GO Transit Student ID Card

The GO Transit Student ID Card can provide eligible full-time students with discounted fare using your PRESTO card.

Once you receive your GO Transit Student ID Card, you must visit the GO Station with your card and PRESTO card so that they can be associated together.

You must always carry your GO Transit Student ID Card and Ryerson OneCard when using the GO train.

Full-time undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for GO Transit Student Identification Cards, valid at the beginning of the school year until October 31st of the following school year.

Undergraduate students

  • In order to be eligible, you must be enrolled in a full course load for both the fall and winter terms.
  • Those registered for only one term of full time studies are not eligible.

Graduate students

  • In order to be eligible, you must be registered in a full-time program and a full course load.

Those enrolled in part-time graduate programs (including Professional Master's Diploma programs and students enrolled in Chang School certificate programs and/or courses) are not eligible.

Applications for the 2019/2020 GO Transit Student ID Cards are open as of August 9th, at 9 a.m.

We recommend that online applications are submitted by mid-August to ensure you receive your card before the start of the term.

Once you submit your online application, your program and enrolment information will be verified for eligibility.

To login to the online application portal, please use your my.ryerson.ca information. Please do not use your 9-digit student number.

After you submit your application, your GO Transit Student ID card will ready for pickup after two business days from submission, starting August 26, 2019 onwards.

In order to pick up your GO Transit Student ID Card, you must present your Ryerson OneCard.

If your card is lost, you may obtain a new GO Transit Student Identification Card in person.

Step 1: Visit the OneCard Office in person to declare your card lost:

Step 2: If you are eligible for a new card, you will be provided with a replacement GO Transit Student Identification Card. You must present your Ryerson OneCard.

Important reminders for GO Transit Student ID Cards

To pick up your GO Transit Student ID Card, you must bring your OneCard!

Discounted membership at the Ryerson Athletic Centre for Continuing Education students
