Educating school-aged children about urban water practices in the city

The Urban Water TMU Office hosted the winners of the Great Lakes Challenge by providing the Grade 6 class with an urban water management clinic and an outdoor field exercise. The class was provided with ArcGIS maps of stormwater drains around Ryerson campus. Student teams located drains and identified garbage nearby that would end up in the local watershed of Lake Ontario.
