Ryerson University has started a student exchange program with Wageningen University (WU) in Wageningen, The Netherlands! In January 2016, a Ryerson graduate student, Spencer Crook, studied at WU (check out Spencer Crook's Blog here). In January 2017, three undergraduate students will attend WU for one semester (one from the Faculty of Science, the other two from the Environmental and Urban Sustainability Program in the Faculty of Arts).

WU is an outstanding post-secondary institution with an international character comprising 25% international students from over 100 different countries, and an international accreditation given by the Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organization (NVAO). WU holds a top five position in the worldwide publication index in the fields of food, agriculture, plants, animals and environment. Furthermore, Dutch students voted WU as the best university in The Netherlands for the ninth year in a row.
