Slideshow components

Homepage Slideshow

The Homepage Slideshow Component is intended to be used on main landing pages, such as a homepage.

How to use

  1. In the sidekick click on "Homepage Slideshow"
  2. Drag "Homepage Slideshow" onto page
  3. Double click, or right-click to edit
  4. Optional: Next to "Size" enter a width and height
  5. Next to "Interval Between Slides" enter an interval in milliseconds. By default it's set to 5000 milliseconds (5 seconds)
  6. Optional: Check the "Hide Mini Gallery" if you want to remove the thumbnails from the slideshow
  7. Click on the "Slides" tab
  8. Drag an image from the Content Finder on the left and drag it to the Slides tab
  9. Click "Add" if you want to add a new slide and drag and drop another image from the Content Finder
  10. Click "Remove" if you want to remove a slide
  11. Optional: Link the image next to the "Article" field, add a headline, add a summary, and/or thumbnail
  12. Click OK

**Note: We highly recommend that your images be the same size.  Please resize your images before you upload them to the DAM.

Slideshow

Unlike the Homepage Slideshow, the Slideshow component can be used on any page of your site.

How to use

  1. In the sidekick click on "Slideshow"
  2. Drag "Slideshow" onto page
  3. Double click, or right-click to edit
  4. Next to "Interval Between Slides" enter an interval in milliseconds. By default it's set to 2000 milliseconds (2 seconds)
  5. Optional: Select a Ribbon to display over your slideshow, uncheck "Display Dotted Navigation" if you want to remove the dots at the bottom of the slideshow, and/or enter a width and height next to "Size"
  6. Click on the "Slides" tab
  7. Drag an image from the Content Finder on the left and drag it to the Slides tab
  8. Click "Add" if you want to add a new slide and drag and drop another image from the Content Finder
  9. Click "Remove" if you want to remove a slide
  10. Optional: Link the image in the "Link" field and/or add a headline in the "Headline" field
  11. Click OK
