Analysis of Electric Circuits

The topics covered in this introductory course in electric circuit analysis include: circuit variables and elements, voltage and current sources, resistive circuits, concepts of capacitance, inductance, and their transient behaviour. Introduction of AC sources, phasors, reactance and impedance, the effect of resonance, real and complex power in reactive loads, methods of circuit analysis, circuit theorems, energy storage elements, transient responses of RL and RC circuits, sinusoidal steady state analysis, analysis of DC circuits.
