2nd Year Aerospace
Hey first-years! I come from a small town in Ontario, and am passionate about all things flight related. Joining numerous clubs and teams really helped me transition smoothly into university.
Hi! I completed one year of aerospace engineering at a different university before transferring to TMU. A fun fact about me, I am working on my private pilot’s license! At the start of first year, I wish I would have known that it is okay to have some fun with friends and that university isn’t all about studying.
Hi there! I am a boba obsessed child and love making people laugh! Some of my favorite things to do are digital drawing/sketching, reading books, working out, and watching kdramas. I'm excited to get to know you all this coming year!
Hello First-Years! In first year, I tried my best to stay involved in the engineering community. This really helped me feel that I was a part of TMU Engineering as I interacted with people who shared the same interests as me.
Hey y’all! I’m a huge football fan (it’s football, not soccer!). I’m also the biggest Real Madrid fan you’ll ever meet. I feel like with TMU Eng we have a really supportive community where everyone is willing to help you achieve your goals and that's very rare to find.

Hey first-years! University isn't as terrifying as it is thought to be. Being an international student, I thought it would be difficult for me to adjust but the orientation week helped me a lot. I am a very friendly person so feel free to reach out to me anytime!
Hi First-Years! One piece of advice from me is do not set unreasonable goals and sign up for too many tasks/courses/activities/groups just because you see others doing the same! Take things at your own pace.
Hi and Hello! I love to play video games, watch shows and read books. Looking back, I wish I knew not to compare high school to university marks. Engineering is a demanding course but we all rise up to the challenge!
Hi! Joining clubs/design teams makes you feel like you're REALLY in engineering. At the start of my first year, I'd wish I'd known how to manage my time better. I wish I'd used Google Cal earlier in my first year since it's a great way to manage your time.
