The IEEQB Program provides internationally educated engineers with an opportunity to meet the academic requirements for professional engineering licensure in Ontario. The program is offered in collaboration with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
To be granted a licence to practice professional engineering in Ontario, applicants must meet all the requirements as outlined in the PEO's Licensing Guide and Application for Licence. Successful completion of the IEEQB program fulfils the PEO's academic requirement for licensure.
Students in the IEEQB program will be required to complete an individually tailored undergraduate academic bridging program that covers the confirmatory examination requirements as determined by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), and complete three complementary courses: Principles of Engineering Economics, Law and Ethics in Engineering Practice (this course does not replace the requirement to write the PEO's Professional Practice Examination), and Communication in the Engineering Professions.
Students wishing to improve their English proficiency may opt to take English as a Second/Additional Language courses through the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education.
Tuition fees are the same as those charged to domestic undergraduate engineering students at Ryerson University.
