R.A.D
Rape Aggression Defence for Women
A basic self defence course for women is offered to the Ryerson community by our own security team. Rape Aggression defense or R.A.D. System of personal safety education involves a practical blend of threat avoidance strategies and real world assault resistance tactics for women.The focus of the R.A.D. Course is on the development of easily mastered personal safety skills. The R.A.D course is open to all women for FREE.
R.A.D for Men
Resisting Aggression with Defence for MenThe R.A.D for Men course is open to all men for FREE. If you want to learn techniques on how to defuse a situation or defend yourself in a confrontation, this course is for you. The Program is geared to men therefore is different from our women's and children's program.
