CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages

Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.

No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table bellow for the particular system/application.

    D2L system maintenance. D2L will not be available during this time frame.
  • Thursday April 30, 2015 from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.
    Put hotfix to resolve "buffer too small" error for InfoBlox DNS/DHCP appliances. Users may experience slow response from DNS if preferred server is offline and secondary needs to be accessed.
  • Friday, May 1, 2015 from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m.
    Switch code upgrade to edge switches and stacks. Users will experience connectivity loss up to 3 minutes.
  • Friday, May 1, 2015 from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.
    Continue troubleshooting I/O blade 2 in DC1c data centre switch. One by one, the second nic for the dual homed servers in the M1000-dc1-4  and M1000-dc1-5 Dell chassis will be reconnected to the switch. No outage is expected, but there is possibility the blade to go offline.
