CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages

Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.

No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table bellow for the particular system/application.

Additional Scheduled Changes

  • Fridays, starting August 15, 2014 between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. until completion - in progress
    Move the load balanced applications to a new application firewall. This change will continue every Friday till completion. No outage expected.
  • Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 10 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
    Update AD schema on ADMN domain from 2003R2 to 2012R2. No user impact is expected.
  • Friday, December 19, 2014 from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
    Move the library PCs to private IP address space. PCs will not be functioning during this time.
  • Friday, December 19, 2014 from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.
    Upgrade the data centre load balancer appliance. no user impact is expected
  • Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m.
