CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages

Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.

No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table bellow for the particular system/application.

Additional Scheduled Changes

  • Fridays, starting August 15, 2014 between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. until completion - in progress
    Move the load balanced applications to a new application firewall. This change will continue every Friday till completion. No outage expected.
  • Thursday, October 23, 2014, between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
    IBM Rational Rose licensing service redirect.
  • Thursday, October 23, 2014, between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
    Enable 2008R2 Recycle Bin feature in AC domain.
  • Friday October 24, 2014 between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m.
    Move labs S: drive share.
  • Friday October 24, 2014 between 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
    Switch Local file system to SAN Storage on mfe1.prodint.ryerson.ca. There might be some minor interruption of users' existing connection to mfe1 at around 7 a.m.
  • Friday October 24, 2014 between noon and 1 p.m.
    Deploy NVivo to Virtual Applications.
  • Saturday, October 25, 2014 between 8 am and noon
    eHR system maintenance. eHR will not be available during this time frame.
