The Board of Governors makes major administrative policy, staff, and
financial decisions. It consists of 24 Members who include:

• The Chancellor
• The President and Vice Chancellor
• 9 Government Appointed Members
• 2 External Members Appointed by the Board
• 3 Alumni Members
• 3 Faculty Members
• 2 Administrative Staff Members
• 3 Student Members

Ryerson University is governed by the Ryerson University Act, 1977
(amended) and the General By-Laws of Ryerson University.
