At the heart of effective governments are public administration professionals who develop and manage the programs and initiatives that shape our lives. Practitioners in public sector management create and implement policies and evaluate their success to ensure citizens’ needs are being met. Ryerson graduates use their sophisticated understanding of policy and administration to make a meaningful difference in Canada’s society, economy, environment and governance.

This program selects students on the basis of academic achievement/grades only. Additional non-academic requirements are not required for admission consideration.

Tuition and Fees

Domestic Fees Range: $7,191 - $7,415
International Fees Range: $23,664 - $23,714

Admission Requirements

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six Grade 12 U or M courses including the following program specific requirements.

Typically, a minimum overall average of 70% establishes eligibility for admission consideration; subject to competition individual programs may require higher pre-requisite grades and/or higher overall averages:

  • English/Anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)
  • The minimum grade required in the subject prerequisite (normally in the 70% range) will be determined subject to competition.
    OR
  • The ability to meet Ryerson Mature Student Guidelines
