Education Programs
SciXchange partners with Let's Talk Science (external link, opens in new window) , a national STEM education charity, to connect educators and youth with outstanding volunteers to deliver a wide variety of meaningful science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning experiences in both school and community settings. The Let’s Talk Science program at Toronto Metropolitan University offers educational activities, workshops and events free of charge to schools, educators and community groups.

Activities
We’re here to work with your group or class to help youth develop positive attitudes toward STEM while building critical skills and gaining career awareness. We offer virtual and in-person activities for individual classes and community groups. We also offer on-campus workshops and events, typically for high school students, throughout the year.
The availability of all of our programs is limited by the schedules of our volunteers, staff and space (as needed).

Facilitators
We train TMU undergraduate and graduate students to engage youth and the general public in science, math, technology and engineering outreach activities. Our volunteers and student staff work hard to inspire the next generation, share their knowledge and develop their communication skills. We thank you for giving our volunteers these invaluable experiential learning opportunities.
