Thomas Duever is a highly respected senior academic administrator and accomplished researcher. He joined Toronto Metropolitan University in 2014 after a long and successful tenure at the University of Waterloo.

As an internationally recognized researcher, Thomas has more than 70 articles in journals and conference proceedings to his credit. He is a prolific presenter who has shared his research findings and his insights on chemical engineering at more than 80 conferences, lectures and seminars worldwide. Thomas previously served as chair of the Association of Canadian Chairs of Chemical Engineering, and he is a fellow of the Chemical Institute of Canada. He will continue his research while at Toronto Metropolitan University.

Thomas received his PhD, master and bachelor degrees at the University of Waterloo.
