Communication with Colour

Because colour lies at the heart of visual persuasion, understanding it equips one with a practical edge for the twenty-first century workplace. Colour is a critical factor in all modern communication industries, from design to mass media and print. This upper level course analyzes colour across media and historical registers. Students use practical techniques and visual analysis to understand colour in advertising and communications.
