Contour Design
This specialized course is an introduction to foundation garments and intimate apparel. Students will learn how intimate apparel is designed, merchandised and manufactured. Original design prototypes are produced using basic blocks with an emphasis on fabrication and production techniques appropriate to the intimate apparel market. Principles of inclusion, decolonization and sustainability will shape the design processes.
