Greek and Latin Keys to Academic English

This course develops students’ proficiency in academic English through a detailed study of Latin and Greek word elements, and the morphological principles whereby they are used to express complex academic concepts in concise form. Following an overview of Greek and Latin roots, analytical skills are applied in the understanding of the origin of Modern English words taken from a variety of fields of study.
