Analogue as Meaning

This production-based course examines current debates in photo-based media and trace a shift in the meanings ascribed to images as related to analogue and digital processes. The course addresses how the development of digital imaging has impacted the meaning and status of the photographic image in recent years. Theoretical issues are explored in order for students to undertake visual projects.
