Midwifery: Complex Care II

By completion of this course the student will have integrated theoretical and clinical content and have acquired a sound knowledge base and the clinical skills to provide primary midwifery care throughout the childbearing cycle. Students will continue to develop decision-making skills, emergency management and clinical judgement. Tutorial scenarios focus on situations which involve transfer of care and relationships with other health care providers. Tutorials and clinical placement occur in separate semesters. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis.
