Review of Bohr's model, matter waves and complex variables. Schrödinger Equation. Wave functions. Stationary states. Quantization of energy. Eigenfunctions and Eigenvalues. Probability interpretation, expectation values. Infinite and finite square wells; barriers, tunnelling. Harmonic oscillator. Heisenberg uncertainty relations. Measurements in Quantum Mechanics. Hermitian operators. Hilbert Space. Superposition of eigenstates. Schrödinger equation in three dimensions. Central potentials. The hydrogen atom.
