MP/MPP Office Placement
This course provides an exceptional opportunity for students to observe and participate in the work of front-line democracy through an unpaid placement in the constituency office of a Greater Toronto Area MP or MPP or an office in the Ontario Legislature. The placement experience (4 to 6 days total) provides the raw material for classroom-based projects and exercises, exploring issues and challenges of representation in the Ontario/Canadian context.(Canadian/Experiential) See teaching department for consent criteria.
