When faced with historical and ongoing forms of inequality and exclusion, the question always asked is "but why didn't they resist?" This course charts the various movements of resistance, historical and contemporary, that have advanced the cause of equity, diversity, and inclusion in Canada. It takes an intersectional approach to these movements, and looks at the challenges of sustaining and deepening critical equity work.
