Spanish and Fashion

This intermediate level course is intended for students wishing to learn Spanish language used in the world of fashion and design. Students will acquire the linguistic skills necessary to communicate in Spanish in professional situations in a Spanish-speaking environment and/or with a Spanish-speaking clientele. Topics range from describing styles, trends and collections to commenting on the running of fashion shows and discussing famous designers including Cristobal Balenciaga, Paco Rabanne, Carolina Herrera, Manolo Blahnik and Palomo Spain.
