Research Methods
This course introduces basic techniques of scholarly research for the creative process: data gathering, thesis definition, critical analysis and structuring an argument. Students will develop evaluation instruments for reliable primary research. In addition, they will be exposed to a variety of creative research practices, and work to develop their own practice, which can lead to their Independent Study in THP 800.
