Minor in Indigenous Thought
The Minor in Indigenous Thought provides students with the opportunity to learn about Indigenous thought on Turtle Island through a variety of Faculty of Arts-based courses focusing on Indigenous philosophies, literatures, political systems, land-based practices, cultural practices, and languages.

To receive this Minor, students must complete six (6) courses from the following curriculum:
Required courses (1):
- PHL 535 Introduction to Indigenous Philosophy
Plus five (5) courses from the following:
- ENG 203 The Literature of Indigenous Peoples
- ENG 650 Indigenous World Views
- GEO 311 Indigenous Geographies
- GEO 711 An Indigenous Guide to the Apocalypse
- HAU 100 Haudenosaunee Cultural Perspective
- HAU 400 Haudenosaunee Leaders and Writers
- MHK 101 Introductory Kanyen’kéha I
- MHK 201 Introductory Kanyen’kéha II
- PHL 565 Topics in Indigenous Philosophy
- SOC 553 Indigenist Thought
- SOC 580 Indigenous Feminisms
