Project Description

"Using the processes of scanning and 3D printing, I reproduced a 1:1 scale model of a Thonet N14 chair. I was interested in using this chair because it is a recognizablepiece of design, that makes the impacts of its technological processing more evident.

Through it’s scanning and printing, the original design language of the chair was inevitably be altered. When realized in full scale, the objects’ new identity acts as a means of addressing the gap between the digital and the physical."
